The Toxic Workplace

Here's an opportunity to become aware of what constitutes bullying and harassment on the job. Every day, in every workplace someone is talking behind someone’s back, spreading a rumor, putting someone down or just flat out being mean. Develop the skills necessary to prevent, intervene, and report behaviors that cause unwanted stress in your workplace. Notice: This program requires no physical fitness. Everyone gets enough exercise jumping to conclusions, flying off the handle, knifing friends in the back, dodging responsibility and pushing their luck.

Achieving Work/Life Balance

Research has estimated from 20% to 50% of the average American worker’s day is wasted due to stress, boredom or general malaise on the job. The cost to employers in increased health care and reduced productivity is enormous (somewhere in access of $200-$300 billion per year at the turn of the century).

Making the work environment more enjoyable reduces this waste by improving morale, cutting stress-related health problems, and boosting job performance and quality.
